The project consisted of the Construction of a Baby Food Facility including the installation of a New Milk Dryer, New Laboratory Block, Staff Amenities and Office Accommodation.
The construction project was started and completed while keeping the existing facility live and producing product.
Civil/Structural Design
Design and detailing of a six storey concrete frame structure to house and support a new 50tonne spray dryer and ancillary process equipment. Design and detailing of an 4000m2 warehouse extension
Refrigeration Services
Design of the Ammonia Cooled Chilled Water System to provide 3mW of Chilled Water including the pipes and Compressors for same and a Heat Recovery System to provide Hot Water for the heating of the Air Handling Units and for Sinks and Wash up and Appointing and Supervising the Contractors
Electrical Services
Design of the System, Appointing and Supervising the Contractors including the Upgrading the 38kV System and the Design and Procurement of all the Main Electrical Boards and the controls for same.
Mechanical Services and HVAC System
Design of the System, Appointing and Supervising the Contractors including the purchase of the New Gas Boilers, Air Compressors, Water Filters, Pumps and Air Handling Units
Mechanical Services
In addition to designing all Services to serve the Plant, Lynch & Associates designed and supervised the installation of 3 no. Gas Fired Steam Boilers rated at 170,000kg/hr.
